Reiss Motivation ProfileTM – Sports (RMP-S)

Sports consultants and coaches use this tool for valuable suggestions on how to help athletes reach their potential.  The athlete completes the questionnaire online in about 10-15 minutes.  The results tell you, in plain language (no psychology jargon), all of the following:

How to motivate this particular athlete 

  • The best ways to motivate the athlete during competition

The athlete’s mental tendencies 

  • How an athlete is likely to react under stress

  • Results describe an athlete’s work ethic
  • How consistent an athlete is likely to be 
  • Results evaluate an athlete’s competitive spirit

The athlete’s leadership potential and character

  • Results evaluate the athlete’s leadership potential 

  • Results describe the athlete’s character 
  • Results evaluate the athlete’s tendency to commit penalties

The athlete’s reactions to coaching 

  • How the athlete might get along with each coach

Certification Program 

Sales are restricted to “Reiss Motivation ProfileTM Master Sports Consultants.” To become a consultant, you must participate successfully in a multi-day program of training.  IDS trains athletes, coaches, counselors, human relations professionals, and psychologists.  Interested persons should send queries via email to ids@idspublishing.com.
