Steven Reiss, Ph.D.,
is Chairperson and Founder of IDS Publishing. He is a Senior Fellow of Dartmouth College and a Yale University Ph.D. in psychology. He completed a clinical psychology internship at Harvard Medical School Department of Neurology/ Massachusetts General Hospital Child Psychiatry. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and recipient of five national awards for research, clinical services, and leadership, and a recipient of two Illinois recognition awards for volunteerism. He is a former Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at Ohio State and Illinois-Chicago.

Before joining the University of New Brunswick in 2005, Dr. Mengel held various project management and leadership positions in addition to working as a consultant in different European and North American organizations. Further, he served as a board member for two successful Canadian corporations in British Columbia. His major passions are leadership and leadership development.
